🧺 LAUNDRY

Check All

Wash ALL used white towels (hand towels, bath towels, bath mats) — wash separately from sheets (see note below)

Wash ALL used white bedding/sheets (fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillowcases, duvet covers from all bedrooms) — wash separately from towels (see note below)

Wash couch cover (if needed — check for stains/spills)

(If needed) Replace laundry with new ones from supply closet and put away old ones

Remove lint from dryer trap

Wipe down the laundry soap and softener dispensers/area

Check laundry soap and softener levels — refill if running low

💡 Laundry Tips:

Always use bleach on white items (towels and sheets) to keep them bright, sanitized, and free of odours. Add bleach to the bleach dispenser — never directly on fabric.
Wash towels separately from sheets. Towels are heavy and fluffy — washing them with sheets causes the sheets to wrap around the towels, leading to uneven cleaning, longer drying times, and increased wear. Separate loads ensure both come out cleaner and last longer.
Do NOT wash bedscarfs or decorative pillow covers. These are delicate decorative items — machine washing can damage the fabric or trim. If you notice a stain, do not attempt to clean it yourself. Instead, leave it in place and note it in the Issues section below so the owner can arrange dry cleaning.

🛏️ BEDROOMS

Check All

All Bedrooms:

Make all beds with fresh white linens (fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillowcases, duvet cover)

Dust all surfaces (nightstands, lamps, windowsills, picture frames)

Vacuum floors thoroughly (under beds if accessible)

Empty wastebaskets and replace liners

Check closets for forgotten items

Check for damage or maintenance issues

🚿 BATHROOMS

Check All

All Bathrooms:

Clean and disinfect toilet (bowl, seat, base, behind toilet)

Clean and disinfect sink (basin, faucet, handles, countertop)

Scrub and Clean shower/tub

Clean mirrors (Windex helps to polish and add streak-free shine)

Mop floors thoroughly (corners, behind toilet)

Empty wastebasket and replace liner

Stock fresh white towels (2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 wash cloths per bathroom)

Check and refill toiletries (toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner)

🍳 KITCHEN

Check All

🛋️ DINING & LIVING AREAS

Check All

Wipe down dining table (Windex helps) and all surfaces (normal cleaner is fine)

Clean and arrange dining chairs

Re-install couch cover (if washed) - ensure proper fit

Fluff and arrange throw pillows

Dust all surfaces (coffee table, side tables, TV stand, shelves)

Vacuum all floors thoroughly (living room, dining area)

Mop hard surface floors

Check behind/under furniture for forgotten items

Wipe down TV remote(s)

🚪 ENTRY

Check All

Make sure the only items in the entrance are the trash can and recycle bins.

Clean entry area and wipe down smart lock

🗑️ TRASH MANAGEMENT

Check All

Collect all trash from every room (check wastebaskets in bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen)

Sort waste properly (garbage, recycling, compost)

Remove trash from premises — Garbage every other Thursday (alternating week). View collection calendar →

Verify no more than 2 garbage bags left on site by guest.

Replace all wastebasket liners

📦 SUPPLIES & INVENTORY CHECK

Check All

Ensure sufficient supplies for next guest:

Toilet paper - 2 rolls per bathroom

Paper towels - 1 roll in kitchen

Hand soap dispensers filled in all bathrooms (if needed)

Body wash/Body lotion/shampoo/conditioner available

Dish soap and dishwasher detergent pods available

Trash bags stocked (large black bags)

Coffee supplies.

Check all other guest amenities (E.g. confirm TV remote present, etc.)
